This time they’re all manuals and I intentionally picked out good better cars. Once again the cars are as they are now, not how they were new. Although we’ll assume they have no major mechanical faults.
1) 1998 Ford Contour SVT
2) 2006 9-3x Sport
3) 1997 Infinity i30t

DD: Saab, because it’s not a tarted up Nissan
Track: Contour SVT, because all-motor V6 and it’s quicker than a contemporary Miata around Willow Springs
Burn: Tarted up Nissan

It’s like the headlights on the Saab have nicotine stains.
DD the Nissan (cheap to maintain)

^All the cars are manual. All 2006 U.S. Saabs were turbo. This would be the 2.0L I4 Turbo.

DD L200
Track SVT Contour (reasonable aftermarket support on a decently popular Euro-ish car)
Burn the Cefiro. I have a 96 non-T and it sucks! Rusty radiator support, impossible to work on transverse V6, shitty engine electronics like the MAF and TPS. But if you do buy an I30, you can get the European headlights on eBay, which are glass and use H4 bulbs. The Euro headlights only fit the I30, not the Maxima
sorry, can’t assume no major mechanical faults because I’ve had so many with my car and they happen on almost EVERY 4th-gen Maxima/I30!

The Saab is a tarted-up Saturn :p

The Nissan is NOT cheap to maintain, plus a lot of shit that’s regular wear items on these cars but should NEVER fail on a good car. TPS, MAF, knock sensor, rusty radiator support, door lock motors, wiring fails regularly too.

DD Saturn L-series? :p

The 95-99 Maxima/I30 was NOT great! Not when the radiator support rusts so quickly and a lot of electrical shit dies.

I knew a guy that owned one and loved it. He called it a FWD BWM. It was purple and always had very sporty looking tires. It had a manual transmission and was waaaaaay cooler than my Dad’s Mercury Topaz. That was my 7-10 year old impression of it anyway. Of coarse that meant the car was relatively new at the time. Who knows what it looks like now. Probably rusted away.
